Plants have a direct contribution to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger). In addition, vertical farming and indoor agriculture can also contribute to SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). Indoor agriculture can enhance the architectural aesthetics of the building and contribute to sustainable urban development. Due to the scarcity of green spaces in modern cities, indoor agriculture can be a good alternative. The present proposal will examine the thermal properties of indoor agriculture. Also, the effect of indoor agriculture on architectural aesthetics and air quality will be investigated.
