World complexity demands professional profiles capable of operating on a global level. Educational methodologies point to teaching-learning strategies linked to Information and Communication Technologies. As neuroscience advances, brain processes capable of allowing a greater apprehension of knowledge are revealed. Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a methodology committed to training within the professional area linked to interculturality as an alternative to the challenging goal of innovating in teaching and learning. The present investigation exposes the methodologies applied in a virtual exercise that links students and teachers from Ecuador and Peru, interconnecting subjects of graphic design and product design. The objective of the link is to design web pages using academic and intercultural tools in six case studies of small businesses from both Latin American countries. Additionally, an analysis of the importance of applying academic exercises that understand the functioning of the brain as an organ that is nourished by experimentation, the feeling of well-being and exchange. In conclusion, different methodologies can work in synergy to achieve reflection through the realization of interdisciplinary exercises that can be inserted with low costs and extensive contributions when carried out virtually. This methodological approach type contributes to the evolution of education from participation, bonding and interculturality.
