Semarang City, Indonesia, flooded for decades. Various efforts and programs have been made to mitigate the Flood, from dam development to river normalization or polders and pump house development. In the uphill part, Kandri village, which is close to the Jatibarang Dam, there is a change in livelihood from mainly agricultural to more various, including eco-tourism, due to dam development in the area. The study mainly uses qualitative analysis by collecting data through observation, interviews, and FGDs. Several eco-tourism community groups developed in the area; this shows that a physical infrastructure can mitigate floods and indirectly affect socio-economic aspects.
