The latest discussion around education and the rise of artificial intelligence generate excitement, debate, and controversies. This study focuses on a review of different perspectives on artificial intelligence around the world, concentrating on the potential applications in creative disciplines, as well as its caveats, limitations, and implications in learning experience, addressing issues or relevance, reliability, and objectivity. Critical thinking, originality, and ethical behavior emerge as a result of sound reasoning based on research, observation and conversations. These essential elements need to be integrated in the learning and teaching methodologies. Significant biases appear in most artificial intelligence systems, platforms, and applications, but are often disregarded, in favor of practical discussions about the advantages and dangers of the new technology. The conclusion will concentrate on ethical perspectives and considerations to better approach the tools of artificial intelligence in education and in the arts.
