This paper revisits the architect Ron Herron’s explorations of English Cultural Heritage, through the lens of set design, centring on the 1975 project for Queen Elizabeth II. The project was initially proposed as entry for a residential design competition Shinkenchiku magazine, Japan which became the expanded project exhibited at the Architectural Association, 1980, Ron Herron 20 years of Drawing, catalogue introduction by Cedric Price, catalogue design by Pentagram.
