Abstract

THE CLASSROOM. Teacher. As a teacher, I am also interested in taking a step forward in the teaching innovation procedure (looking for innovative, and inclusive, learning and teaching strategies) Following the ideas coming from the article “Classroom space. Doubt as certainty”, and reminding Luis Moreno Mansilla in 2005 at the International Symposium on Architectural Education, who says: “…How should we proceed teaching architecture to the students that will be architects in ten years from now…” This article is structure in “KEY WORDS” and aims trying to describe and analyze the strategies and what happens within the space at the Classroom-Workshop of the subject Architectural Design in which we are the teachers. Key words are words or expressions that OPEN territories where we get in and at the same time they also give name to the different chapters.  These “key words” appear almost without noticing it, naturally along the path, and synthesize and alert, suggesting the students a new doubt a new point of view. So, firstly, the referred text, shows in a way, not only my interests, from teaching and researching point of view, but also the conclusions from my own experience as an Architect Teacher. Secondly, it anticipates and also suggests future plans and directions in the difficult task of how to teach architecture to the coming architect that will practice architecture in ten years from now. Finally, let me tell, my interest in the space of the classroom and its main importance, as a space of relationship and where the generosity of sharing each one work in crucial for developing a positive atmosphere for achieving the desirable self-growth.
