Teaching Madrid to its citizens comprises the results of the Learning and Service project, which was carried out by students of the Architecture Analysis course at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura of Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. The outcome of this endeavour is a series of recent works designed by women, which have been analysed from a critical perspective on the different aspects addressed by architecture. This enables citizens to gain a deeper understanding of the values of this new Madrid architecture. A comprehensive analysis of the works has been conducted from various perspectives, including formal composition, spatial organisation, technical development, relationship with the environment, and symbolism. It is a common occurrence that such works are overshadowed by more substantial productions; consequently, the students’ work is of particular significance as it accentuates the merits of these productions and facilitates enhanced public engagement through their adept graphic skills and innate communication style.

She is currently employed as an assistant professor in the Department of Architectural Composition at ETSAM. . Her doctoral thesis, L’Architecture-à-porter (2002), investigated the common methodologies between architecture and fashion design, and marked the beginning of a broader research project that sought to establish the relationship between body, space, and environment.
