Cultural heritage preservation presents both opportunities and challenges in this age of digital technologies permeating all aspects of our lives. The complex balancing act between the incorporation of technology instruments for historic preservation and traditional conservative practices is examined in this paper. The study intends to investigate how technological innovations and historic structures coexist, highlighting the conflict between innovation and authenticity.
The investigation will then delve into archive research, locating old records, images, and relevant books about the conservation procedure. Important new information on the history and significance of these historic structures can be found in this archive context. Experts in technology and historical conservation and preservation will also be surveyed and interviewed for the project. Their insightful observations enrich our comprehension of the advantages and disadvantages of digital interventions in heritage preservation. A critical study of digital documentation, including photogrammetric and 3D models, is also included. by evaluating usability, correctness, and completeness. Additionally, the efficacy of these digital instruments for research and restoration is assessed. A quantitative comparative examination between digital approaches and old conservative methods. A careful balance between authenticity and technical developments is shown by the research evaluation, which is guided by metrics like time, cost, and efficacy. Finally, by gathering participant comments on their interactions with digital representations of historic building repair, the project will investigate user experience (UX). This user experience (UX) research will shed light on emotional resonance, usability, and public engagement with digital historical materials. Through the integration of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the research will further the current conversation about the conservation of cultural
