Research on experiential learning has recently gained momentum in higher education with the need to rekindle our in-class connections after a long period of remote learning. Drawing from David Kolb’s learning cycle, the present paper offers a concrete framework for an industry client role-play and project simulation embedded in English for the Digital Media graduate-level curriculum. It will unfold as an authentic case study with practical and theoretical illustrations, and the research will showcase types of client interactions, authentic vocabulary-building tools and project-pitching techniques meant to improve technical communication skills for graduate students in digital-related fields. The findings will provide a backdrop for project-based learning in post-pandemic times, prompting educators to integrate innovative methodologies into their curricula.
