These tools have significantly impacted the learning experience and can greatly enhance student engagement and collaboration. This session will cover practical applications of these tools, showcasing how they can be used to foster creativity, critical thinking, and active learning in the higher education context. Participants will gain hands-on experience with these tools, enabling them to effectively leverage technology in their own classrooms. Session Objectives: 1. Introduce participants to the potential of Jamboard as a collaborative whiteboarding tool for brainstorming, idea sharing, and group work. 2. Showcase the creative capabilities of Canva in designing visually appealing presentations, posters, and other learning materials. 3. Explore the collaborative features of Padlet for promoting student engagement and interaction within and beyond the classroom. 4. Demonstrate the power of MindMeister in fostering mind mapping and conceptual understanding. 5. Huffman is an Assistant Professor of Elementary Education at East Carolina University.She is a contributing author of two books and social studies courses including Elementary Curriculum I: Colonial America to Reconstruction and Hands-on-History: Dressing Up, Eating, and Building the Cold War.Some accomplishments include: SCCSS Best Practices in Social Studies Award, WIU Alumni Achievement Award, & Gilder Lehrman National History Teacher of the Year.She has presented keynote addresses for SC House of Representatives and SC Dept. Of Ed. with international presentations in Greece and South Korea
