This case study features an undergraduate interior design studio that partnered with a community entity to solve a real design problem and provide students a real-world design experience. Findings reveal the immersive learning experience afforded students valuable life lessons as they embarked in their education that propelled them into their career. This qualitative study features, interviews, observations as well as document review.
