Prof. (Dr.) Kanwal DP Singh is a Professor at the University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India. She was appointed as Dean of the Law School from 2016–2019 and served as Director of Legal Aid from 2019–2022. Her areas of specialization are Research Methodology, Taxation, and Corporate Laws. She has been involved in workshops conducted by the National Commission for Women and the Ministry of Law and Justice, India, and became Principal Investigator in three government-funded Ministry Action Projects. She is Vice-President of the Asian Association of Law Professors and a lifetime member of the Indian Law Institute, Indian Society of International Law, and Indian Institute of Public Administration. She has written three books, presented numerous papers at international conferences, and has 69 publications in renowned journals.
