Dr Jonathan Kemp has worked in heritage conservation for over 30 years in Brazil, Canada, Iran, Japan, Taiwan, UK and Ukraine. He was a Senior Conservator at the V&A Museum and he is a Senior Lecturer at the Grimwade Centre, University of Melbourne. He has published in conservation theory and technical studies, and is Editor of the Journal of the Institute of Conservation. For the last 20 years he has organised art-related projects including DIY technology labs, environmental installations, performances, symposia, and social software events in media art festivals and venues throughout Europe,
