This article examines the effectiveness of empathic modeling in reshaping age-related stereotypes. Students from two U.S.-based universities participated in empathic modeling exercises as part of their coursework. Their self-reported attitudes toward aging were assessed after the activities. The findings indicate a reduction in students’ age-related biases and stereotypes. This research supports the integration of empathic modeling simulations in educational settings and introduces practical tools for implementing these methods. Results from both universities confirm the approach’s effectiveness. However, the study is limited by the sample size and geographic concentration, as both institutions are located in the United States. Future research will aim to explore additional empathic modeling techniques and include a more geographically diverse student population.
