The sustainable development goal 6 stipulates clean water and hygiene. Despite this, access to potable water remains a challenge in some neighbourhoods in Lagos, Nigeria. This research investigated water accessibility in Ojodu Local Council Development Area of Lagos, Nigeria. From an estimated sample frame of 107305 persons, the Taro Yamane sample size formula was used to reduce the number of respondents to 399 in this empirical survey. Frequency tables and Nearest Neighbourhood Analysis were employed to analyse data. Results revealed that water is not readily accessible in Ojodu LCDA, as residents were mandated to travel an average of 150 meters to access water, which takes an average of 30 minutes daily. The study further recommended that the Lagos State Water Cooperation commence immediate audit of their infrastructural facilities in the area and ensure supply of water to individual residences.
