In today’s global cities, livability is often measured by infrastructure and convenience. However, true livability — where individuals from diverse cultural and neurodiverse backgrounds feel at home — demands deeper emotional connection. As Executive Creative Director at Interbrand, with global experience across Asia, Scandinavia, and Southern Europe, I explore how emotional branding, cultural resonance, and human-centered design can transform urban spaces into environments of true belonging. Drawing from my work in branding, neurodiversity education, and multicultural experience, I propose a new perspective: cities must be designed not just for functionality, but for emotional well-being, self-acceptance, and human dignity.
